Long before VearaLink existed, Wendell Bennett was taking computers apart in Aruba simply because he wanted to understand how they worked.

That curiosity followed him from Aruba to New York Military Academy and eventually into the technology industry, where installing equipment wasn’t enough. He wanted to understand what was happening behind it.

As his career moved deeper into networking and communications, Wendell began experimenting with routers and switches on his own. One of those experiments became personal: he built a VPN tunnel that allowed him to communicate with his parents back home in Aruba while avoiding expensive international toll charges.

Technology had solved a real problem.

That experience became part of a much bigger journey. Wendell traveled to India to deepen his technical knowledge, built his own data center environment to learn through hands-on experimentation, and ultimately earned one of the industry’s most respected technical certifications, the Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), in 2017.

He later completed his bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and earned an MBA from Jackson State University, bringing together two perspectives that continue to shape VearaLink today: understanding the technology and understanding the business behind it.

That combination became the foundation for VearaLink.

Today, the same curiosity that started with taking computers apart continues to influence how we approach every client: understand the problem, understand the goal, and engineer technology that connects the two..
