Meet Our CEO
Wendell Bennett is from the “One Happy Island” of Aruba. From a very young age, Wendell’s desire to understand the construction of processing systems began by simply taking computers apart, rebuilding them, and installing hardware. Wendell left Aruba and attended New York Military Academy, with the idea of studying business. Soon after, he took a pause from his collegiate studies to begin work as a field technician, again searching for knowledge in understanding the skills needed to install and configure network devices. He later transitioned into a technical support role in which he pursued and became a Cisco Certified Network Associate and Cisco Certified Network Voice Associate. The idea of internetwork and telecommunication as it relates to the IT world fascinated him so much that he began to experiment with routers and switches and built a VPN tunnel which allowed him to communicate with his parents back in Aruba and avoid toll charges, This VPN tunnel, his ambitious travel to India seeking to deepen his studies, along with the construction of his own data center allowed Wendell to become a Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)in 2017. From those accomplishments, Wendell felt it appropriate to complete his undergraduate degree in Information Technology and then complete his Master of Business Administration from Jackson State University. Unlike many in his field, Wendell proudly boasts that he has experience on both sides of the IT industry. This unique background has given him hands on experience as well as elevated his standards in the services he provides to VearaLink’s customers. The great news is, throughout his career, Wende
l’s desire to learn, innovate, and provide exceptional service has remained the same. He continues IT training by attending various workshops and lectures throughout the year and is sure to share his knowledge with young professionals and peers alike. Outside of his very full IT world, Wendell enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, video editing, and listening to music.
